Architectural Antiques and Antique Doors

architectural antiques, lighting, furniture, antiques doors & much more....

Architectural & Antique Elements began in 2003, our aim was to have a shop that was serious about sourcing architectural antiques, great pieces of furniture and decorative ornamental items for the garden. What we didn’t want was a ‘seriously stuffy antique shop’.

Located in the heart (almost) of Sydney, our split level showroom holds so much more than architectural antiques.
We have a broad range of ever changing stock predominately based around the 19thC, though occasionally we do stray outside this period to get that special piece for you. In store you will find our small and experienced team happy to help you find ‘just the right piece’ for your current project; residential, commercial or boutique retail.

Our passion is for finding the original, the authentic, and pieces with time-worn patina.¹ These pieces ‘the chosen ones’ have the strength to lift an interior or exterior to another dimension.

Architectural antiques are our strong point which appear to fill the showroom, including the best range of antique doors in Sydney. However if you take  sometime to explore  you will discover alongside these robustly handsome pieces a delightful selection of French sideboards, console tables, Italianate mirrors and hand painted stained glass, all unique and all sourced globally.

It is no surprise that you will find specially selected pieces from Elements in commercial spaces with character or homes that have a strong sense of individuality and are a touch out of the ordinary.

To name just a few in the Fashion World:
• Bracewell • Neil Grigg Millinery • Ginger & Smart • Ben Sherman • Herringbone

Hospitality:
• The Dolphin Hotel •  Bar Cucino •  Simmone Logue • Vue De Monde-Melbourne • De Russie Boutique Hotels

At Elements you will find antiques that sit comfortably within contemporary spaces, pieces that hold their own. Our philosophy is very much ‘antiques for living’ this allows us to showcase a diverse palette of materials, sources and periods ~ French, Anglo-Indian, Art Nouveau or Moroccan helping to create the interior/exterior you want to live in.
