| Elements is equipped to handle both refined formal
furniture restoration including veneer repairs,
colour matching and traditional French polishing
as well as sympathetic restoration of provincial
and country furniture, painted finishes, waxing
and the like.
Some pieces require ‘light’
conservation of an original polish; others require
major surgery.
Perhaps you have just inherited an “ugly duckling”
1930’s sideboard from great Aunty Laura ~ "it’s
functional and made from solid oak but that black
Jacobean polish has to go..!!" We
can remove
the finish revealing the natural timber, repair
the rickety drawers, replace or refurbish the hardware,
sand, refinish and return to you a light, contemporary
piece for your home.
You may have purchased an antique table many years
ago – it used to look great but after years
of homework and dinner parties it’s looking
tired, dull and marked. A short stay at Elements
and we’ll return it to its former glory.
So, how to get started?
Simply email a photo to wshop@elements.net.au or phone us during business hours
with details of the item. Due to space constraints
and maintaining a happy workshop ~ all restoration
work has to be booked in advance.
